Information about candidates
In the period preceding the Council elections in March 2024 OSCAR will publish as much information as it can find on candidates for these elections in both the Noosa Shire and the Sunshine Coast Regional Council.
Note: OSCAR’s sharing of information about candidates in the Council elections is NOT, and should not be seen as, endorsing or supporting any candidate mentioned in the candidate list below.
Current councillors
Note: This list shows the successful candidates in 2020. OSCAR is not suggesting all of the Mayors and Councillors will be seeking re-election in 2024.
Early next year OSCAR will be distributing a questionnaire to all candidates asking for their views on a range of issues. In the interim you can look at the information that related to the 2020 elections for successful candidates. You can see which candidates returned their questionnaire in 2020 by clicking the candidate’s name. If a name has no link associated with it, the candidate did NOT provide a response to OSCAR.
